Essence
Essence reimagines rest as a state of balance rather than immobility. The women move as one body, embodying the quiet ease found in togetherness. The work reflects on how collectivity itself can be a form of rest: an act of trust, rhythm, and shared existence.

The Lands Within
The Lands Within reflects on how colonial mentality can shape self-perception and distance us from our cultural roots. A woman carries a pot from which wilted plants emerge, symbolizing how pursuing foreign ideals can wither one’s capacity to grow. Behind her, the patterns of mountains and fields flow like extensions of her mind, a reminder of the richness that endures within the lands we come from.
The Women Within
An homage to the women who came before us. Painted in gold and black, it celebrates feminine strength, ancestry, and the quiet power of those who carved space for our voices.
Kiss Me On A Sunny Day
A work about longing and collectivity. Inspired by a poem I wrote, it portrays the joy of brown bodies resting under the sun, finding connection through color and softness.
