  • Fondazione ISMU – Progetto Awake (2024)

    October 2024

"Kath Magpantay was featured as a testimony in Project AWAKE, an initiative by Fondazione ISMU ETS dedicated to countering disinformation and promoting accurate, pluralistic knowledge about migration in Italy. The project engages journalism students, professional reporters, communication experts, and citizens, providing them with tools to better understand the complexity of migration — a topic often distorted by fake news and political manipulation. Interviewed by Dotz Media, Kath shared her perspective as a graduate student in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and member of KUBO collective, whose work explores the many layers of Filipino female identity, migration, and belonging."
